Financial Aid
Process
The financial aid awarded by the university will bridge the gap between the parents’/students affordability and the cost of education at Plaksha. Only applicants shortlisted for the interview stage will be eligible to apply for financial aid at Plaksha. The form will be available on the portal, once the applicant receives a notification about getting shortlistedEligibility
The need-based financial aid given by Plaksha University is assessed solely on the basis of the applicant’s family’s financial standing. It is not based on scholastic merit, sports qualifications or any non-financial factors.
Financial aid will vary from 25% to 100% on tuition and residence costsDocuments
Applicants will have to submit the following documents to begin with. They could be asked for additional documents if required.
- Income Tax Returns of all earning members of the family
- Bank Account Statement of all members of the family
- School Fee Receipt(s) of the applicant for grade XII
- School Fee Receipt(s) for the applicant’s sibling
- Details of Financial Asset(s) owned by the family
- Company’s Income Tax Returns and Bank Statements (incase any earning member of the family owns a Business)

Merit Scholarship

Process
All students are considered for merit-based scholarships by default. There is no separate application for the same. The scholarship will apply to the full period of enrolment and will be contingent on the continuous fulfilment of a minimum GPA (Grade Point Average), which will be specified at the be specified at the beginning of the year, and maintaining good conduct at the program.

Eligibility
Scholarships are assessed solely based on the applicant's academic, co-curricular, and extra-curricular achievements, as well as on their performance in the admissions process. The scholarship amount varies from 25% to 100% on tuition fees.
Distinguished Scholarship

Bharti Scholarship
Bharti Scholarship is a highly prestigious scholarship awarded to exceptional students from diverse socio-economic backgrounds to pursue full-time undergraduate studies at Plaksha University.
Set up by the Bharti Foundation, the aim is to help the youth to realize their potential and pursue their dreams.
Axis Bank Scholarship
Axis Bank Scholarship aims to support deserving candidates from diverse socio-economic, gender and geographical backgrounds, pursuing full-time undergraduate programs.
Set up by Axis Bank, the scholarship seeks to enrich the talent pool that would be joining the workforce or going for higher education in the STEM domains.
College Board India Scholars Program
Top Performers who demonstrate significant financial need, defined as family income less than INR 8,00,000 per annum, are eligible to receive a full tuition scholarship for the entire duration of their program of study Plaksha.
Students in India who score 1300 or above on the SAT® will be recognized as Top Performers by the College Board at the end of April on an annual basis.
Ayyalasomayajula Lalitha Scholarship Fund
The ‘Ayyalasomayajula Lalitha’ Scholarship Fund (“the Scholarship Fund”) seeks to provide financial aid to deserving women students from a less privileged background pursuing full-time postgraduate programs at Plaksha University.
This scholarship fund is instituted and initially supported by the A.T.E. Chandra Foundation (ATECF).FAQ section
If you are applying for financial aid at Plaksha, you will be required, but not limited, to submit the following documents
- Income tax returns of all earning members of the family
- Bank account statement of all members of the family
- School fee receipt(s) of applicant for grade XII
- School fee receipt(s) for the applicant’s sibling
- Details of financial asset(s) owned by the family
- Company’s income tax returns and bank statements (in case any earning member of the family owns a Business)
- an affidavit on a stamp paper, stating the gross annual income and the source(s) of income (if the earning member is self-employed); and
- salary slips for the last six months/salary certificate from the employer (if the earning member is salaried)
